Welcome to the research project web page of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for High Performance Technology Computer-Aided Design (HPTCAD) at the Institute for Microelectronics, TU Wien. The Lab started on August 1, 2015 and concluded on December 31, 2022. It was jointly funded by the Christian Doppler Research Association and by our partner company Silvaco, Inc. We investigated high performance approaches to accelerate and to improve numerical simulations in the area of TCAD, with a focus on three-dimensional process simulations.
