Our manuscripts entitled Computation of Torques in Magnetic Tunnel Junctions through Spin and Charge Transport Modeling by Simone Fiorentini and Efficient Demagnetizing Field Calculation for Disconnected Complex Geometries in STT-MRAM Cells by Johannes Ender have been accepted for presentation at the International Conference on Simulation of Semiconductor Processes and Devices (SISPAD).

New Team Member Tomáš
Tomáš Hadamek started on July 1st as a doctoral student in the NovoMemLog team and his research will focused on micromagnetic simulations for non-volatile magnetic memory devices . Tomáš received his Bachelor degree in Mechatronics from Brno University of Technology in 2015. After an exchange year at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway, he enrolled in a Master program therein, receiving his Master’s degree (MSc) in Physics in November 2018. In addition to his expertise in condensed-matter physics, Tomáš has previous experience working in the fields of numerical acoustics and robotics.

New Team Member Silvia
Silvia Antoneanu started on January 27th as an administrative assistant in the NovoMemLog team. Silvia held an administrative position at Lidl Romania and, since moving to Vienna, she has worked at the Library of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) and at Bank Austria, where she provided administrative support in data collection.

Ciprian Mihai Ceausescu started on October 14th as a doctoral student in the NovoMemLog team and his research will focus on on integrating heat transport equations with spin/charge transport and magnetization dynamics. Ciprian graduated from University of Bucharest in June 2019, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Software Engineering with a final project regarding Deep Learning Optimization.
