10/1984 - 07/1989: BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Technology, Addis Ababa University (AAU), Ethiopia.
10/1989 - 09/1994: Worked for National Scientific Equipment Center/Ethiopian Science and Technology Commission (NSEC/ESTC).
10/94 - 09/1995: Visiting researcher on functional electrostimulation at the Institute for Biomedical Engineering and Physics, University of Vienna, Austria.
10/1995 - 03/2000: Dipl.-Ing. (MSc.) degree in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Vienna University of Technology (TU Vienna), Austria.
01/07 - 30/09,1996/97/98/99: Internship at SIEMENS AG Austria ; Programming and System Engineering (PSE).
03/1999 - 07/2000: Industry project work at the Institute for Industrial Electronics and Material Science, TU Vienna.
05/2000 - present: Doctoral fellow in the field of TCAD (TECHNOLOGY CAD) at the Institute for Microelectronics, TU Vienna, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Siegfried Selberherr.
