John Samson
Biography
John Samson completed his PhD in the Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge in 1982, under the supervision of Volker Heine. Following postdoctoral appointments in Cornell University and the Max-Planck-Institut für Festkörperforschung at Stuttgart, he came to Loughborough in 1986.
His research interests lie in condensed matter theory and quantum theory.
