3.1.3 Screening Analysis

The Screening Analysis creates $2 \cdot n$ sample points. The examples are defined by the rule that one of the parameters has the minimum or maximum value and all other parameters have their nominal value.

An example of a Screening Analysis of a three dimensional parameter space is show in Figure 3.1.

This design spans a star in the n dimensional parameter space, so these points are also called star points.
