Previous: 5.1.2 Capturing Simulation Results
The second item in the tool-flow of
Example 5.1, which is labeled dios,
encapsulates the DIOS process simulator. It will be used to execute
the simulation statements which have been compiled by
LIGAMENT before. To refer to the file containing these
statements the dios tool uses a template symbol
ligament.dios-cmd in its cmdline template. Instead
of using a symbol name ligament.dios-cmd we could also use
dios-cmd in this context, since no input port known under
this name exists and implicit naming will identify
ligament.dios-cmd as the source for the symbol's value (see
also Section 3.4.2 on page ).
