Biography

Markus Glaser was born in Vienna, Austria in 1983. He studied electrical engineering at the Technische Universität Wien, where he received his Bachelor (BSc) and Master (Dipl.-Ing.) degree in 2009 and 2011, respectively. For his doctoral research study, he was working as a scientific assistant at the Institute of Solid State Electronics (TU Wien) in the field of nanowire optoelectronics, where he finished his doctorate in 2016. He is currently working at the Institute for Microelectronics as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on thermomechanical analysis and crystallographic defects.
